The love for the nature: the warmth of lively vacation surrounded by uncontaminated surroundings in a delightful location only a few stepsaway from the Trasimeno lake, in the sweet Umbria region, land for vacation in any season, among the greenest valleys and the most fascinating historical sites. With our 14 hectars, we offer you all you need, within the past century's walls of a large stone farm, faithfully rebuilt in spacious apartments (from 45 to 80 sq.m.) to create the right athmosphere for a peaceful vacation. The "Forno Antico" Farm is a life experience with direct contact with nature. Several weeks can be spent here, and also perioid of relax and study to discover some fauna or cultural itineraries, marvelous and uncontaminated sites and ancient small towns, wich are dreaming, full of history, cooking and true life

The apartments derived from from the accurate internal rebuilding are ample, independent and furnished with good taste. The bathrooms are new, with shower, the kitchen or the cooking corner are functional. The autonomous heating has its radiators and some of the living-rooms have fireplaces, visible wooden beams on the ceiling and some of the stone walls give a warm and ancient warmth to the apartments. Our guests can bring along their pets. One of the apartments is equipped for handicapped guests. Upon request we will gladly send you an illustrative folder.
Services offered: Horse riding for beginners and for the most able riders, country rides with a guide. You can rent MTB (upon request a road book and for expert groups a guide for advices and suggestions). Bow shooting, among the olive trees, with a straw mat. Also are available French bowling and a Ping Pong table. Moreover, visits to the Naturalistic Oasis and journeys on Land Rover, to savour the charming foreshortenings of the "umbra" hill. The farmholidays Podere Forno Antico is a member of the WWF and of FITEEC-ANTE ( Italian Federation of Equestrian Tourism and of Riding in Countryside).

The Trasimeno Lake It is at a distance of 10 km and it deserves to be mentioned: it is Italy's fourth lake for its extension (128 Kms) and its circumference (40 kms). Some small rivers bring their water to it and from his waters emerge three islands: the major, the minor and the Polvese, connected to the principal coast centers by the county service of Trasimeno sailing, and on the surrounding hills are located some very pictoresque towns. In Summer there is swimming, sailing windsurfing and canoa. It is also foreseen the organization of guided visits to a fauna Oasis "La Valle", with an altar to observe animals like coots, red Herons, fishing hawks and others which regularly visit these waters during their long migratory voyages.
