| It is situated on hills among meadows and fields at about 5 Km. form Peccioli, a small centuries old town that abounds in shops and restaurants. In a deglightfully peaceful and quiet area, it's an ideal starting-point to visit the heart of "Tuscany". Other medieval villages stand on the nearby hills. Pisa, Lucca, Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence and the Chianti region are also easily reachable. |
| The
farm house is located on an extensive farm with swimming pool and overlooks
the hills of Volterra and an 8 hectares lake where fishing for sport can
be enjoyed.
All of this renders "Il Gattero" experience unique. Outside, for your time spent outdoors, tables made from stone oil-press, ping-pong and a park for the children. The enchanting countryside is inviting for hiking and mountain bike excursions. Bicycles can be rented on the spot. Within a radius of 5 Km., you can find your free time: delta wing-aircraft, tennis, riding horse, wine and oil tasting. |

Together
with the landscape and the love for nature we do care for the quality of
our lodging, in fact our apartments in their varied forms can house form
2 to 6 guests and offer the best possible welcome. They are confortably
furnished with antiques and each has infdipendent heating, a bath with
shower and a large equipped kitchen.
The
apartments have been renovated, respecting the traditional style of local
architecture. On the first floor the ceilings have wooden beams and the
apartments on the ground -floor maintain the ancient manager and vault
ceilings. At your disposal, moreover. a big common room ideal for family's
dinner and on the first floor a sitting room with fire place and a place
and a reaing-corner.
