Razza del Casalone is an elegant farmhouse estate located in the heart of the area of southern Tuscany known as Maremma. The estate is located along the "Road of the Collacchie" which joins the provincial capital of Grosseto with its nearby beach community, Marina di Grosseto. It is about 2 Km from the historic centre of Gr osseto and 10 Km from the sea.

The edge of the city has crept a bit closer to this 18 th century farmhouse estate, and there is as a result an extremely convenient little shopping centre less than a kilometre away, as well as a tennis court where you can play and take lessons. In addition, there is nearby racetrack which has taken for itself the name of our estate, Razza del Casalone, which itself once raised horses.

Guests at Razza del Casalone stay in a series of fully independent ground-floor flats, elegantly and comfortably furnished, with both air conditioning and independent heating. (There are some other spacious apartments located on the first and second floor of the principal farmhouse; they don't have air conditioning).

Also on the ground-floor is a 150-square-metres r eception room offering guests a common meeting place with satellite TV, r eading books, fireplace, dining area for larger groups. The grounds are extensive, illuminated at night, and furnished with plenty of tables and chairs. A forest of pines, ilexes and cypresses offers guests pleasant moments of relaxation and fresh air.
A swimming pool measuring 6x14 mt. is a guests' disposal and is fur-nished with playthings for children. Fr om the nucleus of the estate a long avenue of cypresses leads to pri-vate gated parking surrounded by fields and pastures.

Prices at Razza del Casalone are inclusive of electricity, water, gas, air conditioning (if r elevant), heating, bed and bath linens (changed at the end of each week), parking, use of the swimming pool and grounds, plus a discount card valid at local shpos, r estaurants, bathing establish-ments, etc.
Upon request, it is also possible to engage the services of a housekeeper or to have more frequent linen changes. In addition, for a fee guests may use a common laundry room; the machines use a com-puter chip provided to guests upon their arrival, the usage is calculated at the end of one's stay.
