Agriturismo Fattoria Pagnana

A scent of lavender greets you on this ancient Chianti estate where vineyards and olive groves paint a typical Tuscan scene. A fine old manor house dominates the estate, here a characteristic farmhouse Il Loggiato has been restored into 6 apartments and enjoys its own swimming pool on the terrace below.
200 yrds away a cluster of 4 superbly renovated farmhouses Il Borgo forms another 13 good quality apartments enjoying a second swimming pool surrounded by lawns and lovely views. A covered gazebo can also be enjoyed by guests.
Our 19 apartments are immersed in the green Florentine Hills. They have been lovingly restored taking into account the needs of today's comforts but still respecting typical architectural elements of Tuscan farm cottages: the old beams have been left visable as have the traditional tiled floors and windows "a mandorlato" which act as a sun shield keeping the rooms pleasantly cool. All apartments, furnished in the traditional stile, are welcoming and tasteful with sizes varying from 2 to 8 beds.

The kitchens are fully equipped thereby offering full autonomy even if the many typical "trattorie" are a temptation to try the excellent Tuscan cuisine.
This Agritourism has been created to best satisfy the needs and desires of each guest so that a holiday with us is an unforgetable experience of walks discovering nearby hamlets, convents and medieval churches as well as relaxing moments at the edge of the pool or in the shade of an olive tree.

How to reach us

From Milan:
  Autostrada (Highway)AUTOSOLE -A1- Exit "Firenze Sud". Follow
   signs for Bagno a Ripoli, Vallina, Rosano, Volognano, Torri, Pagnana.
From Rome:
  Autostrada (Highway)AUTOSOLE -A1- Exit "Incisa". Follow signs for
  Pontassieve, Leccio, S.Clemente, Rignano sull'Arno, Bombone,Pagnana.
By Train:
  There are many connections from the Firenze - "S.M. Novella" train
  station for the train station of Rignano.
From Pisa Airport:
   After exiting the airport follow the blue signs for "Firenze"
  (Florence). Ignore the green autostrada sign for Firenze. Continue
  along this highway for approximately 70 km where you will follow a
  motorway sign "A1-Roma" until the "Firenze Sud" exit.
  Follow signs for Bagno a Ripoli, Vallina, Rosano, Volognano, Torri, Pagnana.

Depending upon availability, the daily rate per person is Euro 50 minimum 2 nights, maximum 4 nights. Children up to 10 years are entitled to a reduction of 50% on the daily rate.

Prices cover Saturday to Saturday (arrival after 16.00 and no later than 20.00 otherwise telephone, departure before 10.00) and include V.A.T., electricity, gas, bed linen and towels (swimming pool excluded), weekly cleaning and the use of the following facilities:

swimming pool, ping pong, children’s playground and barbeque.
Weekly tour of Pagnana’s cellars – wine and olive oil tasting.
Tennis at Euro 5 per hour and mountain bikes at Euro 5 per Half day.

Heating at Euro 50 per week is added during the period from 15/10 to 15/04.

Extra bed Euro 75 per week.

A cautionary deposit of Euro 155 is required upon arrival.

The Agritourism Centre is 2 Km from the nearest town ( Rignano sull’Arno) which has a chemist, supermarket, train station, dry cleaners and laundry, post office and two banks (ATM and foreign currency conversion)
