In Preconne, a small village between Arezzo Cortona, and S. Sepolcro, you can find Il Pozzeto, a wonderful residence which is the result of the refurbishment of an architectural work dating back to the seventeenth century. Leaving Anghiari to reach what used to be for centuries a hermitage of Franciscan friars, one has to go for seven kilometres, five of which consist of no asphalt road.

From the hill where Il Pozzeto lies, it is possible to admire a wonderful view: nature becomes the master and you almost forget that every day life is right at the bottom.

Bathed in the greenery of Tuscan country, Il Pozzetto almost looks suspended between the present and the past, between the opportunity to enjoy the secular history of our artistic cities and the call of luxuriant nature.

The ancient tradition, which can be found in the Tuscan rustic decoration is well combined with the care for modern life comforts. The flats, which include from two to six beds, have a bath/shower, a cooking table with electric plates, a fridge, satellite TV and heating. A typical room with a fireplace is available for all the guests in the residence.

On a large lawn, located in a panoramic position, a barbecue fireplace and a swimming pool ensure sweet moments of relax and amusement. From Il Pozzetto it is possible to go on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback across some routes which have been specially designed by lovers of green touring.
