For "Wine Lovers"

Especially for women
the itinerary has been especially conceived for women; in fact, at every stop of this tour, you will find women welcoming you in wonderful farm-holiday houses or in efficient wine cellars, or women producers of some sorts of specialties in craftsmanship or gastronomy.

1st DAY :
Arrival in the Chianti area; transfer to the farm-holiday house "Podere Terreno", owned by Marie Silvie Haniez, a Frenchwoman who has become a "Chianti" citizen with full rights in the last twenty years and lives in this beautiful area running her delightful farm-holiday house. One of the habits at Sylvie's home is the "table d'hôte", that is all the guests sit together at the same table for dinner, thus creating an atmosphere of friendliness and familiarity that makes evenings at her house so very pleasant. Light lunch: Anna and Luciano's wine cellar is located within the Medieval walking path of Radda in Chianti. Anna and her brother Luciano produce some of the best kinds of salami of the area, a famous ham and many other specialties made following ancient Siena recipes such as the Buristo, the soprassata or the finocchiona. In the afternoon the excursion includes a visit to the famous Brolio castle where, in the mid XIXth century, the classic Chianti wine formula was created by Bettino Ricasoli, that same recipe which is still today used by the Consorzio del Marchio Storico (Consortium of the Historical Trademark).
