1st day:
Arrival in Matera in the early afternoon. Hotel check-in. Guided visit of the characteristic quarters "Sassi", Unesco heritage, the cradle of rock and peasant civilisations, and visit of the town historical centre. Dinner and night at the hotel.

2nd day
Montescaglioso/Metaponto Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, departure for Montescaglioso and guided visit of the monumental Benedictine abbey of S. Michele Arcangelo, an abbey dating back to the Xith century. Visit of a farm with wine and local home-made preserve tasting. The tour continues [Region BASILICATA] towards Bernalda. Lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon, guided visit of the ruins of the ancient Greek colony of Metaponto: Tavole Palatine, Archaeological Park of Apollo Lycium and National Archaeological Museum. Hotel check-in, dinner and night at the hotel.

3rd day
- Tursi Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, departure for Tursi and guided visit of the village, which was built in the Xth century by the Saracens who inhabited the Arab quarter "Rabatana". Visit of a farm with typical local product tasting. Lunch in a typical local restaurant. In the afternoon, transfer to Nova Siri. Visit of a farm and own-production wine tasting guided by a wine expert. Journey back.ù

Participation fee £ 275,000 per person.
The fee includes: 2 half board stays in a 3-star hotel (double room with bathroom).
2 meals in typical restaurants.
Guided visits, as per programme.
A small collection of typical recipes of the Lucan region.
VAT tax and service commissions.
