Patrizia, 36, comes from the Alps, near Barolo and has been living in Tuscany for
seven years now. She is training in psycho-therapy and she has been studying
ancient Italian traditions for over ten years: from old folk tales to original family
cooking. Her experience in traditional cuisine of northern, central and southern Italy
is based upon training sessions, cooking schools, hotels, selected restaurants and,
of course, by country families. To Patrizia preparing a dish means putting together
all the ingredients with love, exactly as it happens in everything she does in life,
without following too many rules, but with that great passion which turns every little
and simple thing into something unique.

Paolo, 37, from Milan. He has worked as a fashion photographer, a job that
enabled him to travel around the world stimulating his curiosity in meeting people,
discovering new tastes, cultures and different kinds of food. He found in Tuscany the
right place to give people (as well as himself...) the whole taste of life that comes
from those little pleasures. That is why he organizes and follows our guests through
interesting short classes of basket weaving, ceramic creation and decoration. He also
organizes lessons in olive oil making and tasting and horseback riding tours through
old country tracks. He is the perfect guide for introducing you to the hidden faces of
Tuscany made of small, old, abandoned villages and medieval walled towns like
Volterra, San Gimignano, and Siena.

Steve, 42 comes from Canada and has been living in Italy for over twelve years.
He specialized in wine tasting having lived among vineyards and wine producers in
the Langhe and Trentino. Wine, together with a passion for the arts, has brought
him to Italy. Steve gives wine tasting classes in Rome as well as in various wine
areas. Since 1990 he has worked as a free-lance consultant for food magazines.
His knowledge in the arts makes him the best guide for excursions around the
ancient artistic cities of Tuscany.
